Google Chrome Tricks
Trick #1 - Timer
Simply type "set timer (+ timer criteria)" in the Omnibox, and Google will give you an automatic timer with buzzer sound that can even be used full screen.
Trick #2 - Global Weather Forecasts
Type "(city name +) forecast" in the Omnibox to get the forecast of any city.
Trick #3 - Conversions
Just type what you want to convert in the Omnibox. You can convert measurements, currencies, time zones, etc.
Trick #4 - Reverse Image Search
For example, if you see a photo that you want to use or know more about, you can use Google’s Reverse Image Search to find out where it orginiated. Just drag the image into the search tool. It will help you locate the original source of the image.
Trick #5 - Voice Search
If you get tired of typing, simply click the microphone in the tool bar to search by voice.
Trick #6 - Math Equations
Just type the simple equation in the Omnibox, hit 'enter', and up pops a calculator showing the answer to yur equation.
Trick #7 - Pin Tab
A way to keep frequently used tabs from closing accidentally or just overcrowding your tabs, simply right click on the tab and choose to 'Pin Tab'. This will keep the tab open unless it is 'unpinned'.
Trick #8 - Previous Pages
Hold own back button to revisit previous pages.
